Inspired by Edgar Allen Poe’s poem “The Raven,” the Raven Skirt features a specially commissioned illustration by Brooklyn-based artist Matthew Boyle.

This skirt is the first in our 19th-Century Literature Print Series -- each edition will feature a different illustration inspired by an author or work. Each skirt is presented in a limited edition of 150, including some pre-orders available at a special discounted price. Make sure you order early -- once a design sells out, it’s gone forever!

Skirts are available in three fabric and color combinations: cream cotton with a black print, and black cotton with either antique gold or silver print (see photos). They are also available in two lengths: above-knee (20” from the waistband -- the standard Lolita silhouette), or a mid-calf (25” from the waistband -- for a slightly longer look - see top left photo).

We are proud to release a skirt featuring high quality 100% British cotton. All skirts are fully lined, and feature a detachable back bow and a partially elastic waistband that allows for a comfortable fit. Each Raven skirt also features color-coordinated, one-of-a-kind vintage buttons, so no two skirts are alike. See the photographs for examples of some of the lovely vintage buttons we use!

We are very excited about how beautiful these skirts are, and we think that you will be, too!
